ISSA 612 method
Warehouse Cleaning Cost Calculator
Estimate light warehouse or industrial cleaning from concrete square footage, service frequency, trash routes, restrooms, and high dusting. The warehouse page uses the industrial calculator preset.
Preset checked before publishing
The warehouse preset opens on 50,000 sqft, concrete floors, 3x weekly service, trash, restrooms, and monthly high dusting. Example table row: $4,287/mo, $0.086/sqft/month.

Inside common monthly shorthand range
Common light industrial cleaning references often show $0.08- $0.15/sqft but do not always label monthly vs. per-visit math. CleanScope shows both; it does not inflate the engine output.
How this estimate is calculated+
ISSA 612 task times
Hours come from seeded production-rate rows, not a hidden multiplier.
Transparent assumptions
Default overhead is 10%; profit is 15%; labor burden uses the selected state profile.
Same engine path
The public tool calls the same pure calculation engine used inside CleanScope proposals.
Calculation method
How the estimate is calculated
Warehouse pricing depends on open concrete area, office/restroom pockets, lift access, and how often dust or debris accumulates. This estimate covers routine janitorial work before specialty equipment or safety constraints are added.
Task hours
Square footage is divided by the matching ISSA production rate. Restrooms use fixture counts instead of square footage.
Monthly workload
Each task is multiplied by the selected cleaning frequency, such as daily, weekly, or monthly.
Burdened labor
Base wage is adjusted for FICA, SUTA, and workers comp using the selected state labor profile.
Contract price
The engine adds 10% overhead and 15% profit, then returns monthly and annual contract value.

FAQ
Warehouse cleaning calculator questions
How do I price warehouse cleaning?+
Start with concrete square footage, visit frequency, trash routes, restroom fixtures, and high-dusting scope. Add specialty equipment or floor scrubbing after the baseline labor estimate.
Is this for heavy industrial cleanup?+
No. This calculator estimates routine light industrial or warehouse janitorial work. Heavy debris, hazardous material, lift work, or shutdown cleaning needs separate pricing.
Why are warehouse rates often lower per square foot?+
Open concrete areas can clean faster than dense office or clinical layouts, so labor per square foot can be lower when the scope is mostly open floor.
